Infrared Bandpass Filter Applications:

  • Gas sensing: This infrared broadband filter can detect gases such as CH₄ (methane), C₂H₆ (ethane), CO₂, and NH₃, which have absorption characteristics within this wavelength band. Combined with a detector, it can be used for gas monitoring of these gases.
  • Agricultural remote sensing: Different materials have varying spectral absorption differences in the 1.65-2.35μm band. This filter can identify crop moisture content, maturity, and disease status in the 1.7–2.2μm band.
  • Environment monitoring: The 1.65-2.35μm wavelength range is characteristic for many key gases. This filter can extract gas absorption signals for long-term identification and tracking, making it particularly effective for environmental monitoring.
