The 1064nm Nd:YAG Diode laser handpiece is the most critical energy component in laser medical aesthetic devices. The 1064nm wavelength penetrates deeply, reaching the dermis layer and penetrating to the bulbous portion of deep hair follicles. It exhibits low absorption by epidermal melanin, minimizing the risk of burns on darker skin tones, and moderate absorption by melanin in darker skin, making it particularly suitable for use on darker skin types. It is primarily used for hair removal on darker skin tones, treating vascular lesions, laser skin rejuvenation, and pigment removal applications.
Coligh is a manufacturer and supplier of core components for the 1064nm Nd:YAG Diode laser handpiece, including diffractive beam splitters, micro-array lenses, and top hat beam shapers. We also assemble and provide 1064nm laser handpieces for the third-party repair and service market.
Original manufacturer handpieces are expensive, while low-cost alternatives offer poor spot quality and short lifespans. We control spot quality from the source.

The 1064nm Nd:YAG laser handpiece enables dot-by-dot or linear scanning, making it particularly suitable for individuals with darker skin tones. This approach minimizes epidermal damage and accelerates recovery. - Hair Removal for Dark Skin
