A beamsplitter is an optical component that splits an incoming light beam into two separate beams by reflecting a portion of the light and transmitting the rest. The “T90/R10” notation refers to the transmittance and reflectance properties of the beamsplitter.
In this case, “T90” means that the beamsplitter transmits 90% of the incoming light, while “R10” means that it reflects 10% of the incoming light. So when an incident beam of light hits the beamsplitter, 90% of the light passes through the beamsplitter while 10% is reflected off at a 90-degree angle.
