1064/55nm Optical Notch Filter | Bandstop Filter Manufacturer
Coligh customs and manufactures 1064/55 nm optical notch filters and bandstop filters, providing 1064 nm laser line removal notch filters with a 55 nm stopband bandwidth.
1064/55nm Optical Notch Filter Overview
The 1064/55nm Optical Notch Filter features a center wavelength of 1064nm and a stopband width of 55nm. It provides a high OD (dip closure) cutoff within the 1036.5-1091.5nm range, effectively removing 1064nm laser lines while allowing high transmission in other wavelengths. The passband covers the 752-1700nm range with a transmittance of ≥90%. The 55nm stopband width effectively covers the 1064nm laser line and its temperature drift, angular shift, and spectral broadening. It is suitable for Raman spectroscopy, laser line purification, fluorescence spectroscopy, laser protection, optical instrument integration, and biomedical detection applications.
Coligh, as a manufacturer of notch filters and bandstop filters, can customize center wavelength, stopband width, size, and OD value according to customer laser wavelength, power, Raman shift range, spectrometer optical path, and detector type, providing long-term, consistent filter supply.

1064/55nm Rejection Filter Applications
1064 nm Raman Spectroscopy Laser Line Removal
In the 1064 nm Raman spectrum, the Raman scattering signal is very weak. If a strong laser line enters the spectrometer, it can mask the weak Raman signal and even damage the detector. A 1064/55 nm notch filter creates a wide 55 nm stopband near 1064 nm, deeply blocking the laser line while allowing high transmission of Raman scattered light. The 55 nm stopband width covers laser line temperature drift and spectral broadening, making it suitable for high-power lasers and broadband Raman detection.
Laser Line Cleaning
The 064 nm laser output may contain ASE (laser-associated plasma), pump light, harmonics, and stray light. These stray lights can affect subsequent optical systems, samples, and detectors. A 1064/55 nm notch filter can be used for laser line cleaning, deeply blocking the 1064 nm laser line while allowing other wavelengths to pass through, or for separating the laser line from the signal light.
Laser Protection
1064 nm lasers are invisible, and high-power lasers can damage the eyes and detectors. 1064/55 nm notch filters can be used for laser protection, effectively blocking 1064 nm laser lines while allowing visible light to pass through, facilitating observation and aiming. This improves the safety of laser operation and reduces damage to the eyes and detectors. Suitable for laser processing, medical laser systems, and scientific research laser systems.
