532nm/10nm Narrowband Optical Filter | Laser Line Filter Manufacturer

Coligh customs and manufactures 532nm/10nm Narrowband Optical Filter  and laser line filters for laser and biomedical applications.

532nm 10nm Narrowband Optical Filter | Laser Line Filter Manufacturer Overview

The 532nm/10nm Narrowband Optical Filter is a narrowband filter with a center wavelength of 532nm, a half-bandwidth of 10nm, and high transmittance in the 527-537nm range. It preserves the 532nm laser line while suppressing pump light, harmonics, plasma lines, ASE (associated emission), ambient light, and out-of-band stray light. It is commonly used in lasers, fluorescence microscopy, Raman spectroscopy, laser ranging, biological imaging, and industrial lasers.

532nm is a common laser wavelength for filtering. In actual laser output, in addition to the dominant 532nm wavelength, there may also be 1064nm residual light, pump light, harmonics, plasma lines, and spontaneous emission. The 532/10nm optical filter allows the 532nm dominant wavelength to pass through, and in the 200-1100nm out-of-band range, especially at the 1064nm cutoff depth OD6, it can effectively increase beam purity and reduce background noise.

Coligh is a manufacturer of laser line filters. We select high-quality materials such as fused silica and B270 as substrates and customize the film system according to the customer’s laser power, pulse width, incident angle, and other parameters.

532nm/10nm Narrowband Optical Bandpass Filter for Nd:YAG Laser & LiDAR Applications

532nm Laser Beam Purification

Frequency-doubled Nd:YAG/KTP lasers often contain 1064nm residual light, pump light, plasma lines, and ASE (associated plasma emission). These stray lights can affect subsequent optical systems, samples, and detectors. A 532nm narrowband laser line filter allows only the 532nm dominant wavelength to pass through, suppressing other wavelengths. This improves beam purity and signal-to-noise ratio, reduces background light, and protects subsequent optical components and detectors.

Fluorescence Microscopy and Bioimaging

532nm is commonly used for fluorescence excitation, but excessively strong excitation light can mask weak fluorescence signals. A 532/10nm narrowband filter can be used as a laser filter in fluorescence microscopy and bioimaging equipment to purify the excitation light, reducing out-of-band light irradiation of the sample and background noise. This improves the fluorescence signal-to-noise ratio and weak signal recognition.

Raman Spectroscopy

532nm laser is a commonly used excitation wavelength in Raman spectroscopy. Raman signals are very weak, requiring high-purity lasers and strong Rayleigh scattering suppression. 532nm/10nm laser line filters can neutralize the excitation light, reducing plasma lines and stray light. They also improve the Raman signal-to-noise ratio and reduce fluorescence background and stray light interference.

Industrial Laser Processing

When 532nm lasers are used for welding, cutting, marking, and micromachining, process monitoring cameras or sensors are exposed to plasma radiation, thermal radiation, and ambient light. Narrow-band 532/10nm filters can isolate the 532nm signal, improving the quality of monitoring images.

Medical Laser Therapy

532nm KTP lasers are commonly used in skin treatments and medical devices. Systems require stable, pure 532nm output. 532/10nm narrow-band filters can be used for beam purification, suppressing stray light, improving treatment accuracy and system stability, reducing unwanted radiation, and are suitable for integration into medical laser equipment.
